Anderson Peter Morelato

Anderson Peter Morelato serves as the Head of CO2 and Technology Roadmapping, CTO North America, and COO NAFTA at ArcelorMittal, a position held since June 2019. Prior to this role, Morelato was the General Manager Primary at AM/NS Calvert from April 2017 to May 2019, overseeing the Hot Rolling Mill and Internal Logistics. Morelato's extensive experience at ArcelorMittal Brasil from August 1999 to April 2017 included positions such as Gerente Geral de Produção de Bobinas e Acabamento de Produtos and Gerente de Tecnologia, with responsibilities ranging from production management to quality control and customer technical support. Morelato holds a Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and an MBA with a focus on Strategy, Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with executive education in Organizational Leadership from Duke University and a Business Administration postgraduate degree from Fundação Dom Cabral.
