Maryanne Kelly

Maryanne Kelly is an accomplished senior leader with extensive experience in the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as General Manager at Fortescue Metals Group since April 2014, Maryanne has successfully overseen the safe production of approximately 40 mtpa of iron ore, achieving an 80% improvement in safety performance through effective exposure reduction programs and leadership coaching. Previous roles include managing Port Operations at Fortescue Metals Group, operating a local general store as an independent business owner in Wyndham, and leading operations at Kimberley Metals Group and Argyle Diamond Mine, where significant safety and production milestones were achieved. Maryanne’s educational background includes a Certified Practicing Accountant designation, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Curtin University, a Master's in Business from Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma in Mineral Economics, and a Quarry Manager Certificate.
