Garth Johnson has over 20 years of work experience. Garth began their career in 1989 as a Developer for BioCEDE. In 1997, they took on the role of Demonstration Application Developer for Microsoft. From 1999 to 2011, they were a Developer for Michael Stutz Consulting and Owner of Odd Otter Co. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Chief Minion for The NetYeti Inc. and Developer Operations Lead for Dealer Informations Systems. In 2019, they became a Community Organizer and Committee Member for the Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington. In 2021, they took on the roles of Instructor for Bellingham Technical College and Board of Directors for The Bellingham Makerspace. Garth is currently a Sr Manager, Software Engineering (Cloud Team) for Arch Systems since 2022.
Garth Johnson's education history includes graduating from Mt Baker High School in 1984, graduating from Auburn Adventist Academy in 1984, and attending Skagit Valley Community College from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an Associates degree (incomplete) in Computer Technology.
