Lisa Brody

Lisa Brody serves as the Associate Curator of Ancient Art at Yale University since August 2007 and holds the position of Book Reviews Editor for the Archaeological Institute of America since December 2022. Previous roles include Assistant Professor of Art History at Queens College from September 2004 to August 2007, Co-Curator for “The Grandeur of Islamic Art in Image and Object” at Godwin-Ternbach Museum in early 2007, and various academic positions at institutions such as the American School of Classical Studies at Athens and Willamette University. Brody earned a Ph.D. in Classical Art and Archaeology from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, as well as an M.A. in the same field, and a B.A. in Archaeological Studies from Yale University. Brody's academic background is complemented by a diploma from Wilde Lake High School.
