James Shelton attended Ringwood School from 2007 to 2014. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Zoology/Engineering.
