Karl Ramwell

Karl Ramwell has extensive experience in project management and technological capabilities analysis. Karl started their career at STFC as a Technological Capabilities Analyst, where they led the development of a capabilities database and identified technology transfer opportunities. Karl then worked at Public Health England as a Higher Radiation Protection Scientist before joining Quantum Detectors Ltd as a Project Support Officer and later as a Project Manager, overseeing the development and delivery of the Merlin product portfolio. At Adaptix Ltd, Karl served as a Project Manager, responsible for managing the development and delivery of the Flat Panel Source and Orthopedic imaging system. Their role included R&D project planning, sprint management, and collaboration with senior management and product managers. Karl also has experience as a Programme Manager at Refeyn and currently holds the position of Project Manager at Archangel Lightworks.

Karl Ramwell began their education at Bolton School Boys' Division, where they pursued A levels in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and General Studies from 2006 to 2008. After completing their A levels, they enrolled at Lancaster University, where they studied for a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Astrophysics & Cosmology from 2008 to 2012.

Aside from their formal education, Karl also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they achieved the Prince2 Practitioner and Prince2 Foundation certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice. More recently, in 2022, they completed the "Setting Up a PMO" certification from LinkedIn and earned the PRINCE2® Practitioner CPD certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
