Shefali Azad

Shefali Azad is an experienced professional in wildlife biology and data management, currently serving as the LTAR Assistant Data Manager at Archbold Biological Station since January 2018. Previous roles include Project Assistant at Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, where activities focused on Lyme disease risk intervention, and Statistical & Research Analyst at Clemson University, specializing in occupancy models for insectivores in the Serengeti. Additional experience includes intern positions at Audubon Nature Institute and Safe Haven & Educational Adventures, Inc., along with a Graduate Research Assistant role at Clemson University that involved studying black bear population dynamics. Shefali Azad holds a Master’s Degree in Wildlife Biology from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.
