Leslie Hoot, MPA, CTRS, CDP has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on senior care and wellness. Leslie is currently serving as the Director of Wellness Centers at ArchCare. Prior to this, Leslie worked as the Center Administrator at Maryknoll Sisters of St. Dominic, Inc. from August 2019 to January 2022. Leslie also held the position of Director of Community Life and Volunteers at Andrus On Hudson from June 2018 to August 2019.

Leslie's experience includes various roles at The New Jewish Home, where they served as the Director of University Avenue Assisted Living from October 2017 to May 2018. Leslie also held the positions of Interim Director of the Assisted Living Program and Associate Director from June 2017 to October 2017. Leslie gained experience in directing daily activities and care for memory-impaired residents as the Reflections Director at The Bristal Assisted Living from August 2016 to January 2017.

Leslie Hoot, MPA, CTRS, CDP, completed their education in a chronological manner. Leslie first attended Pace University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree with a focus on Health Care Administration. Prior to that, Leslie attended Ithaca College from 1989 to 1993, and simultaneously studied at Pace University. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a specialization in Therapeutic Recreation.

In addition to their educational background, Leslie also holds certifications in their field. In November 1993, they obtained the Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS®) certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
