Alan Tubbs

Alan Tubbs is an experienced aviation maintenance professional, currently serving as Director of Maintenance at Archer since October 2022. Previously, Alan held the position of Consultant - Tech Ops with Virgin Galactic, focusing on process and procedures in readiness for new aviation frontiers. Prior roles include Consultant - Director of Fleet Maintenance at BlackBird, where Alan advised on safety and compliance for general aviation, and Managing Director of Line Maintenance at Alaska Airlines, responsible for maintenance operations for a combined Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 fleet. Alan's extensive background includes significant roles at Virgin America as Director of Maintenance and Manager of Maintenance Control, Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician at JetBlue Airways, and Aircraft Maintenance Technician at United Airlines. Alan is educated at the Community College of the Air Force.
