Amos Tsai is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems, system integration, and motor control software development. Currently serving as a Propulsion Systems Control Engineer at Archer since July 2023, Tsai previously held a System Integration Engineering Internship at Tesla, where contributions included enhancing thermal system functionality for the Cybertruck. Tsai also interned at Lucid Motors, focusing on improving motor control simulations and developing user interfaces for test result analysis. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan's HaptiX Lab, Tsai worked on haptic steering interfaces for semi-autonomous vehicles, integrating various testing technologies.
