Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Emily currently holds the position of Head of Talent Development, Performance, and Culture at Archer since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Gap Inc. where they held several roles including Director of Executive Development and Senior Manager in Talent Management, Operating Model Transformation, and Customer Fulfillment Strategy. Before joining Gap Inc., Emily was a Management Consultant at Slalom Consulting, where they worked on change management programs, process improvement, and strategic planning in the retail industry. Emily also gained experience at Target as a Senior Business Partner in Fulfillment Strategy and Store Operations Supply Chain, and at US Bank as a Project Manager in Communication and Training. Earlier in their career, Emily worked as an Event Director at BI Worldwide, where they managed corporate executive trips and leadership meetings.

Emily Thompson completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of St. Thomas from 2009 to 2011. Emily also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1999 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Emily has obtained the Hogan assessments certification from Hogan Assessments, the DiSC Certification from Integral Talent Systems, and completed Leadership Coaching training at the Hudson Institute of Coaching. Additionally, they hold the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coach Federation, which they acquired in December 2016.
