Janãya Tshionyi

Janãya Tshionyi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Janãya began their career as a Kindergarten Teacher at Springfield Public Schools in Oregon from 2002 to 2004. Janãya then worked as an Assistant at Guess from 2006 to 2007, followed by a brief stint as an Administrative Assistant at Cowen and Company in 2007. From 2007 to 2013, Janãya worked at Barclays Capital as an Executive Assistant, supporting various divisions and managing events. Janãya then served as a Greater San Francisco Bay Area Ambassador for March of Dimes from 2012 to 2013. Janãya also worked as the Head Varsity Cheer Coach at Hayward Unified School District from 2012 to 2015. Janãya joined Okta, Inc. in 2014 as an Executive Assistant, where they supported multiple executives and took on responsibilities such as event planning and coordination. In 2015, Janãya joined Uber as a Senior Executive Assistant, supporting various high-level executives within the company. Janãya'slast known position was as an Executive Business Partner at Archer, starting in 2023.

Janãya Tshionyi obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching, Marketing/Marketing Management, General, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Oregon, completing their education between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Administrative Professional Foundations and Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn, and they are also trained in Dare to Lead from Dare to Lead™ Trained.
