Shan Gao

Shan Gao is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in test engineering and validation across multiple prominent companies. Currently serving as a Staff Test Engineer at Archer since August 2022, Shan Gao previously held the position of Senior Test and Validation Engineer at Apple from June 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, experience includes roles as Senior Test Engineer and Validation Engineer at Lucid Motors from October 2019 to June 2021. Early career experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from August 2014 to May 2019 and a Power Electronics intern at Tesla in early 2018. Shan Gao holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2019, and a Master’s degree in the same field from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, completed in 2014.
