Adam Roberts

Adam Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adam'smost recent role is as a Data Engineer/Solution Architect at Archetype Consulting since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2016 to 2021, where they served as the Revenue Director and Civic Product Manager. In these roles, Adam built and managed data infrastructure, utilized their expertise in data modeling, database administration, ETL/ELT, Python, and State finance and Federal reimbursement regulations.

Before joining the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Adam worked as a Product Manager at Accela from 2013 to 2015, where they were involved in various tasks such as product research, market research, product roadmapping, stakeholder communication, software implementation project management, user and employee training, among others.

Adam also served as a Project Manager at SoftRight from 2011 to 2013, where they handled project management responsibilities. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Budget and Operations Analyst at the Town of Concord, MA from 2007 to 2011. Adam's earlier experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at Georgia State University from 2005 to 2007 and as a Writing Fellow at the University of New Hampshire in 2001.

Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated proficiency in a range of tools and platforms, including Jira, Aha!, Basecamp, ZenDesk, Google Docs, among others. Adam has a strong background in project management, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Adam Roberts completed their education in a chronological order. Adam obtained a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science (MSCIS) with a specialization in Technology Project Management from Boston University, where they attended from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Management and Finance at Georgia State University from 2005 to 2007. Adam'sundergraduate studies were conducted at the University of New Hampshire, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science, spanning from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Adam Roberts has also obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they completed the "Getting Started with CockroachDB" certification from Cockroach University. In March 2019, they obtained the "MongoDB Aggregation Framework" certification from MongoDB. Adam also holds the "MongoDB for DBAs" certification from MongoDB, Inc., which they acquired in September 2015. Recently, in June 2021, they obtained the "Fundamentals of CockroachDB for Python Developers" certification from Cockroach Labs, as well as the "SnowPro Core Certification" from Snowflake.
