Shahrukh Tarapore

Shahrukh Tarapore has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shahrukh is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Archetype since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Arcweb Technologies for nearly seven years, where they held the position of Head of Engineering from January 2016 to April 2021 and Product Architect from December 2014 to December 2015. At Arcweb Technologies, Shahrukh was responsible for leading the technology team, fostering innovation, and overseeing the development of software products.

Before joining Arcweb Technologies, Shahrukh worked as a Technologist in Residence at Persistence Plus from October 2011 to March 2020. Their role involved utilizing cutting-edge behavioral research to develop a mobile platform that motivates students to complete college. Shahrukh was also involved in various entrepreneurial programs, including the Kauffman Foundation's Education Ventures program and the Good Company Venture Social Impact Incubator.

From 2007 to 2014, Shahrukh worked at Lockheed Martin, where they served as the Regional Technology Manager, India, from November 2012 to November 2014. In this role, they developed technical relationships with Indian Government organizations and managed innovation initiatives. Shahrukh also held the position of Senior Research Engineer from October 2007 to November 2014, conducting applied research in advanced systems engineering.

Shahrukh started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of New Orleans from January 2003 to July 2004, where they worked in the Robotics & Intelligent Systems Laboratory. Shahrukh then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2007.

Prior to their research roles, Shahrukh worked as a Software Developer at NOLA Web Design from November 2000 to June 2003. In this role, they led the redesign of data management services and created tutorials on web services and programming languages.

Shahrukh Tarapore completed their Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans between the years 2000 and 2004. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science at the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Shahrukh also obtained certifications in AWS Technical Professional from Amazon Web Services in August 2015 and in Doing Business Overseas from Lockheed Martin in June 2013.
