Frontend Developer at Archilogic

Manuel Hitz has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 2004. Manuel started as a Frontend Developer at Elca in 2004, where they developed the Cont’n’Shop 5 Content Management System and crafted the website of the Paléo Festival Nyon for two consecutive years. In 2006, they joined SecuTix SA as a Frontend Developer, where they were involved in the GUI design, architecture and development of the SecuTix 360 ticketing solution, and managed four developers. In 2013, they took a semi-sabbatical leave and worked as a Bike Messenger at Krick Cyclomessagerie. In 2014, they joined Doodle AG as a Software Engineer and designed and implemented a common state of the art REST API for the mobile apps and the website. In 2018, they started working at Bestmile as a Frontend Developer, where they implemented a suite of web applications, including a dashboard, administration, booking portal, dev tools, account, and stop signage. In 2021, they joined Archilogic as a Frontend Developer.

Manuel Hitz attended Collège du Sud from 1995 to 1999. Manuel then went on to pursue a Master of Computer Science at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1999 to 2004. During that time, they also completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University from 2001 to 2002.
