Archimedes at Virginia Tech
Kevin Xu is an accomplished student and leader currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Virginia Tech. In positions such as President Emeritus and External Treasurer of Archimedes, Kevin has successfully secured over $1,500 in corporate sponsorships and led various organization initiatives. Kevin's research experience includes work at the Virginia Tech Advanced Propulsion and Power Lab and participation in NASA's Micro-g NExT Design Challenge. Additional roles encompass serving as a Lead Ambassador for the Kevin T. Crofton Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering and internships at Peraton and NASA, where Kevin contributed to significant engineering projects. Kevin has also gained teaching experience as a Math Tutor and Grader at the Virginia Tech Department of Mathematics.
