Tatiana Thieme

Tatiana Thieme is an Associate Professor and Lecturer in Human Geography at University College London (UCL) since October 2015. In addition to this role, Tatiana serves as a part-time consultant for Archipel&Co., focusing on research projects such as "Last Mile Delivery" in low-income markets across various countries. Contributions to academia include a long-standing position as a Visiting Lecturer at HEC Paris, where Tatiana delivers lectures on social business and poverty. Prior experience includes a Co-Investigator role in the "Making Work Outside of Prison" research project in collaboration with the University of Cambridge. Tatiana's educational background encompasses an MPhil/PhD in Development Geography from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Anthropology and Law from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Anthropology and Dance from Cornell University. Additional roles have included independent consulting for various organizations, with a focus on nutrition, remittances, and access to resources in diverse contexts.
