Miguel Rus has over 15 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry. Miguel began their career in 2004 as an Architect at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. In 2010, they moved to GGLab as an Architect. In 2014, they joined BuroHappold Engineering as an Analyst and Software Developer, where they developed in-house architectural and engineering software for Rhino, Grasshopper, and Dynamo. Miguel also developed interactive tools for clients. In 2015, they became a BIM Coordinator at tp bennett. In 2016, they moved to Heatherwick Studio as an Architect and BIM Coordinator. In 2017, they joined Grimshaw as a Computational Design Manager and Computational BIM Specialist. Currently, they are the Computational Design Lead at Archistar.ai.
Miguel Rus received their Master of Architecture (MArch) from AA School of Architecture in 2014, specializing in Emergent Technologies. Miguel attended Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2004 to 2011. From 2008 to 2009, they studied Architecture at RWTH Aachen University.
