Christina Taylor

Christina Taylor is a seasoned professional in computational molecular design, currently serving as Senior Science Fellow and Computational Molecular Design Lead at Bayer since August 2018. Taylor leads a team of data scientists focused on optimizing protein-based crop protection traits using advanced computational methods, including machine learning. Prior to Bayer, Taylor held various positions at Monsanto Company, where responsibilities included leading the protein design team. Earlier experience includes roles at Washington University Genome Center and Washington University School of Medicine, utilizing genomics and computational biology to identify drug targets and design small molecules. Christina Taylor holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
