Gerald Mandevhana

Gerald Mandevhana is a skilled architectural professional with extensive experience in computational design and environmentally responsible practices. As the Computational Design Lead at Citra - Live Different since 2021, Gerald has been innovating design-to-production systems utilizing automated manufacturing and parametric design tools for diverse building markets in South Africa. In addition, Gerald founded CoDe Atelier in 2018, focusing on resilient design and performance optimization in the built environment. Previous roles include Design Architect at Jack Mutua Architects Inc., where Gerald led the Design Research Lab from 2013 to 2020, and Guest Lecturer at Namibia University of Science & Technology, teaching computational tools for architectural design. Gerald holds a Master's degree in Advanced Computation for Architecture & Design from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and additional qualifications in architecture from University of Cape Town, Eastern Mediterranean University, and National University of Science and Technology (ZW).
