Varis Darasirikul

Varis Darasirikul has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and development. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at HUBBA X, where they collaborated with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop applications. Varis also worked as a Freelance Frontend Developer, creating web pages for companies such as Dtac and The Bkk International Co. Ltd.

From 2017 to 2018, Varis worked as a Senior Front End Developer at Prenetics, where they created e-commerce web applications using Angular 10 and ReactNative. Varis also mentored junior team members and ensured adherence to software quality standards.

Varis then joined HSBC as a Senior Front End Developer in 2018, where they developed XML data comparing tools and Angularjs Widget Collection UI components for the Commercial Banking department.

In 2019, Varis worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Easyship, focusing on the implementation of visual and interactive elements for the customer management dashboard system. Varis also migrated a web application portal from AngularJS to the newest Angular system.

At Manulife Hong Kong from 2020 to 2022, Varis served as a Senior Software Engineer, where they enhanced the native iOS application and built an internal web application portal using Angular.

In 2022, they joined EQONEX as a Senior Front End Developer, implementing visual and interactive elements for the company's cryptocurrency exchange system.

Most recently, Varis worked at Manulife as a Lead Software Developer, leading a development team to design, test, and build new features and interfaces while collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Architrave, starting in 2023.

Varis Darasirikul holds a diverse education history with a focus on computer science and technology. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Multimedia from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. After that, in 2013, they completed an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design & Web Development from Digital Hollywood Thailand. In 2016, Varis earned another Associate's Degree, this time in Full Stack Ruby on Rails Course from NEXT Academy | SEA's Best Coding/Digital Marketing School.

Varis's educational journey continued in 2020 when they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong, which lasted until 2022. Additionally, in the same year, they enrolled in a Nano degree program in AI Programming with Python from Udacity, which they completed in 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Varis Darasirikul has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2020, they completed a Learn Python 3 Course from Codecademy.
