Ben Dobbs

Ben Dobbs has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Ben is currently working as the Head of Data and Analytics at Archway Learning Trust since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Trust Assistant Principal at the same company from September 2019 to January 2022. Before joining Archway Learning Trust, Ben worked at THE NOTTINGHAM EMMANUEL SCHOOL from September 2009 to August 2019. During their tenure, they held various positions including SLT Whole School Data Lead, Teacher of Mathematics and Data Coordinator, and Teacher of Mathematics. Their responsibilities involved leadership in data management, timetabling, and utilizing technical skills for business intelligence. Additionally, Ben has prior experience as a Teacher of Mathematics at Tiffin Girls' Grammar School from September 2007 to August 2009.

Ben Dobbs attended Durham University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Mathematics (MMath). Following that, they attended the University of Nottingham in 2006 and 2007 and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialization in Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Ben Dobbs has obtained several certifications. Ben completed the "Mastering Tabular Video Course" and "Data Modeling for Power BI Video Course" from SQLBI in 2021 and the "Mastering DAX 2nd Edition Video Course" in the same year. In 2022, they obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate" certification from Microsoft. Prior to that, in 2021, they acquired the "Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate" certification. Ben Dobbs also holds the "National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership" certification, obtained from the Department for Education in 2019.
