Troy Halvorson has a extensive work experience in the snowmobile industry, starting in 1997 at Arctic Cat. Troy has held various roles, including Product Engineer, Race Development Team Manager, Performance Product Team Manager, and Mountain Product Team Manager. In 2015, they became the Snowmobile Product Manager and was later promoted to Director of Snowmobile Engineering. In 2018, they joined Textron Specialized Vehicles-Arctic Cat as the Director of Operations. In 2021, they briefly served as the Vice President-interim before becoming the Director of Product Strategy Snowmobiles at Arctic Cat. Prior to their career in the snowmobile industry, Troy served as an Infantry Squad Leader in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 to 1991.
Troy Halvorson earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from Northland Community and Technical College in 1992. Troy then attended Cuesta College from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in General Studies. Following this, Troy went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completing their studies in 1996.
