Chris Kurash

Chris Kurash has extensive work experience in the field of 3D modeling and design. Chris started their career in 2002 as an instructor for animation and game design at Collins College. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at THQ - Rainbow Studios as a Character/Vehicle Modeler, where they were responsible for creating and managing assets for multiple MX vs ATV AAA titles.

In 2011, Chris joined Grand Canyon University as Lead Media Designer/Project Lead, where they managed all production phases and coordinated with internal and external departments. During this time, they also created high-end assets using various software such as Maya, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Chris then worked as a Freelance Video Editor for Glynlyon in 2012, where they edited and composited videos in After Effects for a high school educational series. In 2013, they freelanced as a UI Artist for Axon Sports, specializing in user interface design.

From 2018 to 2021, Chris worked at THQ Nordic GmbH as a Senior 3D Artist. Here, they served as a Senior Vehicle Artist for MX vs ATV Legends and as a Project Lead Artist for Monster Jam: Steel Titans 2, collaborating with design teams and outside vendors to achieve desired results.

In 2021, Chris joined Certain Affinity as a Senior Environment Artist before moving on to Arctic7 in 2022 for the same role. These positions highlight their expertise in creating and managing environments and modeling assets for game design needs.
