Brit Perla

Brit Perla, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director of Intellectual Property at Arcus Biosciences, a position held since November 2020, with prior roles including Senior Patent Agent and Patent Agent. Previously, Brit worked at Haley Guiliano LLP as a Patent Agent and Technical Advisor from January 2018 to October 2020. The academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame, completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Colorado State University, obtained in 2012. Early research experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Therapeutic Materials and Biointerfacial Research Laboratory, where Brit focused on developing NO releasing polymer materials for biomedical applications.
