Robert Engle

Robert Engle has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the data and analytics field. Robert is currently employed at Arcus Biosciences as a Senior Director of Clinical Data Sciences. Prior to their current role, Robert worked at Biogen for 10 years, where they held positions such as Director of Data Science, Associate Director of Data Sciences, and Principal Analyst of Statistical Programming. Robert also has experience as a Senior Data Analyst at United BioSource Corporation, a Health Data Analyst at Colorado Foundation for Medical Care, and a Math Instructor at Pikes Peak Community College. Robert began their career as a Math Instructor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and later served as a Graduate TA at the University of Colorado Denver. Robert also worked as an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at Colorado State University. Before transitioning into the data field, Robert gained customer service experience as a Customer Service Representative at T-Mobile and an Agency Direct Back Office Specialist at MCI Corporation.

Robert Engle earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology/Math from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2005. Robert then pursued a Certificate in Bioinformatics from the same institution from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Finally, Robert completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biostatistics from the University of Colorado Denver between 2007 and 2009.
