Belinda Gist

Belinda Gist has a comprehensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Belinda currently serves as the Sr. Director of Scientific Communications and Education at Ardelyx, Inc. since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Kite Pharma as the Director of Medical Affairs Learning & Development from February 2018 to November 2020. Before joining Kite Pharma, Belinda was the Director of Medical Excellence & Training at EMD Serono, Inc. from March 2014 to February 2018. Belinda also served as the Director of MSL Training at Genzyme from February 2012 to March 2014. Belinda's earlier work experience includes roles at Biogen Idec, where they held various positions including Director of Medical Education & Grants from March 2010 to January 2012, Associate Director of Medical Education and Grants from June 2007 to March 2010, and Senior Manager of Medical Education and Training from March 2006 to June 2007. Overall, Belinda has a strong background in medical education, training, and grants management in the pharmaceutical industry.

Belinda Gist obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental & Forest Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Belinda pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in the Online Self-Study Programme: Basics of Health Economics - with Prof Dr Lieven Annemans from CELforPharma in January 2022.
