Kayla Speedy

Kayla Speedy is an accomplished professional in the field of costume design and fashion, currently serving as an Adjunct at Temple University since August 2023. With extensive freelance experience, Kayla has worked as a Stitcher and Costume Designer for Walnut Street Theatre and has been providing costume services through personal freelance work since 2014. Kayla's prior roles include Costumes Coach for Lower Merion School District and Costume Technician for Opera Philadelphia. Additionally, Kayla held the position of Adjunct Professor at Drexel University in early 2021, focusing on couture techniques. With a Bachelor's of Science in Fashion/Apparel Design from Drexel University (2010-2014), Kayla also gained industry experience as a Set Costumer for HBO and as a Costume Designer at Hedgerow Theatre.
