Anita Rao

Anita Rao currently serves as a Policy Consultant in Emerging Technology Policy & Strategy at Ardent, where responsibilities include supporting the General Services Administration in evaluating the impact of new technologies on federal agencies. Previously, Anita held roles as a Legislative Fellow with the United States Senate and as a Congressional Innovation Fellow through TechCongress. Prior experience at Qualcomm spans several positions, including Senior Software Engineer in the Wireless R&D group, contributing to 5G systems and intelligent connected edge technologies, along with multiple software engineering internships focused on deep learning and IoT. Anita also has experience in advocacy, having coordinated student initiatives at Start School Later, Inc., and has a strong educational background with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
