Asanka De Zoysa has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Asanka started their career in 2007 at Sri Lanka Telecom, where they served as an IT & Network Officer. In this role, they provided consulting, infrastructure solutions, and conducted trainings on IP services, broadband, and unified communication systems. Asanka also implemented an Information Security Management System.

In 2013, they joined Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) as an IS Support Analyst. Asanka provided first and second level support for Windows and Apple OS environments, network and video-conferencing infrastructures. Asanka also managed operating system deployments and mobile devices under a mobile device management system.

In 2015, they moved to Medtronic as an IS Analyst, where they provided IT support for the user base, including VIPs and EMEA leadership team. Asanka deployed, administered, and troubleshooted Mac OS X, Windows server and client infrastructures. Asanka also played a role in coordinating and testing global IT deployments.

Asanka then joined Capital Dynamics in 2018 as an IT Service Desk Analyst and later became a Service Desk Supervisor. In these roles, they provided IT service desk support and supervised a team.

Currently, Asanka De Zoysa is working at Ardian as a Senior Information Technology Support Associate.

Asanka De Zoysa completed a M.Sc degree in Information Security from the University of Colombo from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, Asanka obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hones) in Information Technology from Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. Before attending university, Asanka attended Dharmasoka College in Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka, although the degree or field of study is not specified. In addition to their formal education, Asanka has obtained certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in October 2020, and ITIL 4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2020.
