Joseph Plank

Joseph Plank has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Joseph is currently serving as the Director - Private Credit at Ardian since October 2021. Before that, they worked as the Director of Leveraged Finance Origination at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation from September 2015 to October 2021. Prior to that, they had roles at GE Capital as an Associate Director in Leveraged Finance from March 2014 to September 2015, and as an Associate in Leveraged Finance from December 2012 to March 2014. Joseph also worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as an Assistant Director in Structured Finance from March 2012 to November 2012, and as part of their Graduate Scheme in Corporate & Institutional Banking from September 2010 to March 2012. Joseph started their career as an intern in the Institutional Client Group at Citi in June 2009, where they worked until August 2009.

Joseph Plank attended the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA Hons) in English. In December 2011, they also passed the CFA Level 1 certification.
