Marie Montlaur

Marie Montlaur has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Marie started as a Legal Intern in Mayer Brown in 2016, where they gained experience in finance. In 2017, they joined Idinvest Partners as a Legal Intern in Private Equity, and continued their internship until 2018. Marie returned to Idinvest Partners in 2019 as a Legal Intern in Private Equity, this time specializing in PPI. In the same year, they also worked as a Trainee in Fund Structuring & Transactions at Dentons. In 2020, they joined Jones Day as a Stagiaire in Private Equity and Fund Structuring. Later in the year, they transitioned to the role of Avocat, focusing on Private Equity and Structuration of Investment Funds. Currently, Marie Montlaur is working as a Junior Lawyer at Ardian, starting in 2021.

Marie Montlaur completed their LLB in English and French Law from the University of Essex between 2011 and 2015. From 2013 to 2016, they pursued further studies at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, earning a Licence and Master 1 in Droit des Affaires, as well as a Master 2 in Secteur Financier. In 2016 and 2017, they attended King's College London, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Financial Law.
