Arya Hezarkhani has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Product and Engineering member at Arena, where they are involved in bringing game-playing AI from research to the enterprise. Prior to that, Arya was a founding member of the Kuiper Flight Software team at Amazon's Project Kuiper, contributing to the initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites for global broadband connectivity. They also worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the AWS Batch project. As an undergraduate student researcher at Carnegie Mellon University's Neural Devices Engineering Laboratory, Arya focused on developing object detection algorithms for low-resolution retinal prostheses. They also have experience as an Andrew Ambassador at Carnegie Mellon University, a Summer Engineer at Long Island Rail Road, and a Brilliant Factory intern at GE Healthcare.
Arya Hezarkhani attended Comsewogue High School from 2010 to 2014, where they completed their high school education. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as Biomedical Engineering, at Carnegie Mellon University from 2014 to 2018.
