Mario Simoniello

Mario Simoniello has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Incoming Hedge Fund Investment Research Analyst at Arena Investors, LP in 2023. In this role, they are expected to generate financial models, analyze management statements, conduct market research, and support the asset management team. Prior to this, they worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Yorkshire Partners Corp. in 2023. In 2022, they served as a Private Equity Investment Analyst at DLP Capital, where they handled acquisitions, underwriting, and financial modeling. Mario also gained experience as an Equity Analyst at the UCD I&E Student Managed Fund from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they interned at Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking in 2020 and worked as a Tax Advisor Intern at Studio Commerciale Viggiani from 2019 to 2020. Mario was a Consultant for Ronald McDonald House Charities in 2018, a Trading Tutorials participant at J.P. Morgan, and an intern in Administration and Finance at La Doria S.p.A. during the same year. Mario also co-founded a startup called Spack, where they worked as a Business Developer with skills in web marketing and direct marketing.

Mario Simoniello completed their high school education at Liceo Classico, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Studi classici e del mondo antico from 2011 to 2016. Afterward, they attended Luiss Guido Carli University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics and Management from 2016 to 2019.

In 2018, they participated in an occasional business program at University College Dublin (UCD). During the same year, they also studied Mergers & Acquisitions at HEC Paris.

Mario then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Management - STEM program from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Cornell University between 2020 and 2022. Additionally, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School during the same period.

In terms of certifications, they completed the Global Leadership Programme at University College Dublin in July 2021. Mario also obtained the certification of TEAM MANAGER from LUISS Guido Carli University in 2017.
