Al Asuncion

Al Asuncion has a diverse work experience in supply chain operations and materials management. Al is currently the Head of Global Supply Chain at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2017. Before that, they worked as the Sr. Director of Supply Chain Operations at IGNYTA, Inc. from February 2015 to July 2017. Prior to that, they held positions at Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc., Metabasis Therapeutics, Inc., Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc., SkinMedica, Maxim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., DepoTech, Signal Pharmaceuticals, and Pacific Biotech, Inc. Their roles varied from director to manager and they gained expertise in areas such as purchasing, planning, materials management, and facility coordination.

Al Asuncion has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
