Billy McAllister

Engineer at ARES Corporation

Billy McAllister has a strong background in engineering, with a focus on integrated system performance analyses for space missions. Billy began their career at Hernandez Engineering in 1999 as an engineer, where they worked on test procedures for the Guidance, Navigation, and Control Integration Test Facility for International Space Station flights. Billy also developed real-time embedded software for data logging and analysis. In 2003, Billy joined Boeing as a Subsystem Engineer for the Space Shuttle Global Positioning System, where they performed analysis for all Space Shuttle flight phases. Billy then moved to ARES Corporation in 2005 as an Engineer, providing leadership and technical direction for integrated system performance analyses for the International Space Station. At ARES, they played a key role in optimizing performance while ensuring safety and mission success.

Billy McAllister attended Mississippi State University from 1994 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering.
