Julie Dewberry

Julie Dewberry, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple engineering roles and industries. Julie began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at LATA, Inc. from June 1994 to June 1997. Following that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Parsons Engineering, Inc. from October 1997 to October 1999. Julie then joined Bechtel National Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer from February 1999 to February 2002. Julie then transitioned to Energy Solutions, where they served as a Senior Stress & Structural Engineer from April 2002 to April 2010. Afterward, they became an Engineering Advisor at Becht Engineering BT, Inc. from April 2010 to April 2013.

In 2013, Julie joined SNC-Lavalin as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and remained in this role until October 2017. During their time at SNC-Lavalin, they contributed their expertise as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Subsequently, Julie worked at Washington State University as an Adjunct Professor from August 2014 to August 2016. Julie then moved to ARES Corporation, where they held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer. Julie began in December 2017 and continued until their most recent role as a Senior Principal Engineer at Raytheon, which they commenced in October 2018 and remains in at present.

Julie Dewberry, Ph.D., obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Julie then pursued further education and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Washington State University, graduating between 2000 and 2005. Building upon their knowledge and expertise, Julie continued their academic journey at Washington State University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2017.
