Elaine Deremer Cook has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Elaine began their career as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Space Operations Company, where they were involved in on-orbiter leak and functional testing, heat shield discrepancy corrections, and the development of operations and maintenance procedures. Elaine then joined Boeing Rocketdyne Propulsion and Power as a Project Leader/Systems & Test Engineer, leading a diverse team in developing an integrated Program Plan for the Space Shuttle Main Engine Program.

Elaine later transitioned to United Space Alliance, where they served as a Project Leader and Instructor, responsible for new technology development and project management. Elaine also contributed to the Constellation Human Spaceflight Program and played a vital role in developing company PM processes.

Continuing their career in the aerospace industry, Elaine joined Brunswick Boat Group as a Program Manager, driving model change, technology innovation, and integration for a recreational/luxury watercraft builder. Elaine managed budgets up to $1M and led a staff of 40+.
