Elaine Deremer Cook has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Elaine began their career as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Space Operations Company, where they were involved in on-orbiter leak and functional testing, heat shield discrepancy corrections, and the development of operations and maintenance procedures. Elaine then joined Boeing Rocketdyne Propulsion and Power as a Project Leader/Systems & Test Engineer, leading a diverse team in developing an integrated Program Plan for the Space Shuttle Main Engine Program.

Elaine later transitioned to United Space Alliance, where they served as a Project Leader and Instructor, responsible for new technology development and project management. Elaine also contributed to the Constellation Human Spaceflight Program and played a vital role in developing company PM processes.

Continuing their career in the aerospace industry, Elaine joined Brunswick Boat Group as a Program Manager, driving model change, technology innovation, and integration for a recreational/luxury watercraft builder. Elaine managed budgets up to $1M and led a staff of 40+.

Elaine's expertise expanded into the aviation sector when they became a Program Manager at Embraer US, overseeing program management activities. Elaine then became a Project/Program Management Consultant at Aeropro, Inc., utilizing their skills as a rocket scientist to deliver services for various sectors, including marine.

In 2015, Elaine took on the role of President at HandyPro of the SpaceCoast, demonstrating their leadership skills and business acumen. Most recently, they joined ARES Corporation as a Life Cycle Review Engineer, responsible for conducting life cycle reviews.
