Atharv Toraskar

Atharv Toraskar has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they served as a Marketing Organizer for Techfest, IIT Bombay, where they promoted coding culture and coordinated competitions with participation from students across the country. Atharv also served as a System Administrator for Hostel 16 at IIT Bombay, handling web and computer-related affairs for over 900 inmates.

In 2019, Atharv became the Convener of the Web and Coding Club at IIT Bombay. In this role, they organized programming events and workshops, providing mentorship to help students enhance their coding ability. Atharv was also a Marketing Coordinator for Techfest, where they executed Ideate competitions and coordinated with professors for participant mentoring.

In 2020, Atharv returned to IIT Bombay as a Teaching Assistant. Atharv later joined Ford Motor Company as a Summer Intern, where they performed root cause analysis and investigated assembly line errors. Atharv also trained in the Body construction department to understand automated assembly processes.

In 2021, Atharv continued their teaching assistantship at IIT Bombay. Atharv also joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay as a Research Associate (Climate Transition). In this role, they are involved in research activities related to climate transition.

In 2022, Atharv joined Finlatics as an FMEP Equity Market Analyst as part of the Financial Markets Experience Program. Atharv actively followed companies on the Bombay Stock Exchange, built and managed a virtual equity markets portfolio, and conducted research projects on the Banking and Finance Industry and Automotive Industry.

Overall, Atharv Toraskar has gained experience in research, teaching, marketing, system administration, and finance throughout their career.

Atharv Toraskar completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Atharv attended the institute from 2018 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications in machine learning and deep neural networks. Atharv completed courses such as "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Support Vector Machines in Python, From Start to Finish." These certifications were obtained in June 2020 from Coursera.
