Ko Sakuma

Ko Sakuma has a diverse work experience that spans across different companies and roles. In 2016, Ko co-founded Xiawa Technologies, a Chinese social eCommerce platform, where they obtained Pre-Seed financing and launched the minimum viable product (MVP) within three months. However, due to a lack of experience, they were unable to scale the business and reach the next funding target. In 2020, Ko secured an internship at Apple Japan in Sales and Product Marketing, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They also had a brief summer internship at HODINKEE, Inc., where they supported product growth initiatives in the Japanese market. In 2021, Ko worked as a Frontend Developer at IBM, contributing to the development of a web portal for IBM-Academia projects. They then transitioned to Apple, where they led the development of a wearable-based solution to support Long COVID patients in the UK as part of their MSc thesis project. Currently, Ko is a Product Manager at Argent, a smart contract wallet company backed by prominent crypto investors.

Ko Sakuma has a Master's degree in Computer Science from UCL. They also have a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from King's College London. In addition, they have obtained a Product Leader Certificate (PLC) from Product School and an MBA Essentials certification from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
