Matt Applegate

Matt Applegate currently serves as the General Manager of US Manufacturing Services at Argenta, overseeing a site P&L of approximately $25 million and managing approximately 100 direct and 10 indirect staff. Since 2021, Matt has also been the owner of MR Applegate Consulting, and previously held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing and Site Director at Medgene Labs, where management responsibilities included seven departments and a site P&L of around $10 million. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at KindredBio, IPS, Thermo Fisher Scientific, CEVA Santé Animale, and Bayer HealthCare, with a focus on process engineering, commercial manufacturing, and production management, demonstrating a strong track record in operational excellence and team leadership. Matt holds a Master's of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Emporia State University.
