Panagiotis V.

Panagiotis V. has a diverse work experience in the biotech and finance industries. Panagiotis is currently working as the VP and Head of Finance EMEA at argenx since March 2021. Prior to this, they were a Business Angel Investor at Go Beyond Investing from 2016 onwards. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the VP and Head of Finance for EMEA Gene Therapy at AveXis, Inc. Panagiotis also worked as a Freelance Biotech/Pharma/Medtech Independent Consultant from 2016 to 2018. Before that, Panagiotis held the position of Director of Finance at QGel from January to September 2017. Their earlier roles include Global Finance Director and Director of Finance at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they managed various regions and business development projects from 2010 to 2016. Lastly, they served as the Regional Finance Manager for Central Eastern Europe at Medtronic from 2006 to 2010.

Panagiotis V. has a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Biotech-Medtech from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2016. In the same year, they completed an Executive Education Course in Changing the Game: Negotiation and Competitive decision making from Harvard Business School. In 2003-2004, they attended HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, studying Economics. Panagiotis V. also holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from the University of Sunderland, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999.
