B.J. Hjelholt has a diverse work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Starting in 2003, they worked as a floor director and sportsnet news editor for Rogers Sportsnet. B.J. then moved on to work as a production assistant at BlueMoon Productions in 2005. In 2006, they joined Insight Sports/World Fishing Network/GolTV as a producer for original programming, where they produced various series and promotional content.

In 2009, B.J. Hjelholt worked as a freelance content producer for iSport Media & Management. B.J. joined SK Films in 2011 as a field producer for the production of "The Water Brothers" series. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a video production manager at Big Red Oak Inc., managing teams and producing videos for corporate clients.

In 2015, they worked as a producer and director of photography for the feature-length documentary "Big Ned Film." Their most recent role is as the Vice President of Production and Technology at ARHT Media Inc., where they are responsible for all aspects of technology related to holographic content.

Throughout their career, B.J. Hjelholt has gained extensive experience in managing teams, technical production, and delivering content for networks and corporate clients.

B.J. Hjelholt has a strong educational background in media and multimedia. In 2000, they obtained an Honours Diploma in Interactive Multimedia from TREBAS. B.J. furthered their education by completing a Professional Development program at Centennial College from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Project Management, New Media, XML, and Javascript. In 2003, they attended Seneca College and received an Honours Diploma in Television Broadcasting, which they completed in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, B.J. Hjelholt also holds several certifications. In August 2014, they completed the "Premiere Pro CC Essential Training," "Premiere Pro Guru: Essential Keyboard Shortcuts," and "Camera Movement for Video Production" courses at lynda.com. These certifications showcase their proficiency in the field of video production and editing.
