Hua Xu

Hua Xu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. They started their career as a Lecturer at Southern Polytechnic State University in 2010 and held this position until 2013. From 2013 onwards, Hua Xu worked at Gimmie Games in various roles such as Lead Game Designer, Director of Game Design and Operations, Director of Game Design, and Chief Design Officer. They held these positions until 2018. In 2019, Hua Xu joined Aristocrat as the Principal Director of Design, and in 2020, they were promoted to the role of VP Game Design for GimmieGames.

Hua Xu obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2003. Hua then pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics in 2008. Simultaneously, they also obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution.
