Umberto G. Crovella

Umberto G. Crovella holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

In Ariston Group since February 2020, Umberto serves as Senior Executive Vice President Thermal Comfort, with responsibility to drive the day by day management and guide - within the Thermal Comfort Division - Marketing, Digital, Regions, Business Units and Operations.

In his professional career he has gained experience in roles of increasing importance and complexity in international business contexts, acquiring a deep knowledge of the agricultural, industrial and household appliance sectors, as well as strategic and industrial skills.

After two years as a researcher in the field of telecommunications at the University of Illinois, he began his career at CNH where from 2002 to 2012 he held various roles in various European countries in the fields of production, product development, purchasing and logistics.

In 2012 Umberto joined Indesit Company as plant manager, and subsequently was industrial manager of the Lodz and Radomsko sites in Poland, where in particular he followed the integration with Whirlpool. In 2015 he returned to CNH Industrial as Executive Vice President Manufacturing Asia Pacific, responsible in particular for the production and distribution logistics of the region; he was subsequently appointed Executive Vice President Manufacturing of the Agricultural Segment, overseeing the transformation of the global footprint to adapt to new business needs.
