Samira Akbary

Samira Akbary is currently a Content Tutor at the University of Virginia, responsible for tutoring athletes and developing lesson plans for small groups while hosting large group review sessions for finals. In addition, Samira has been a Tutor with Aristotle Circle since April 2020, focusing on middle and high school students across all subjects, including SAT and college preparation, while creating lesson plans that emphasize problem-solving. Samira is also involved in a shadowship with Johns Hopkins Medicine and previously served as a Legal Intern at Law Group International, LLC., assisting with immigration applications. Samira is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Special Education at UVA School of Education and Human Development and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
