Samira Shalabi began their work experience in 1995 as an ESL Teacher at the Instituto Cultural Dominico Americano. In 1998, they joined Banco Popular Dominicano as a Customer Service Representative. Samira then worked at the Secretaria de Estado de Industria y Comercio as a Manager, Consumer Education from 1999 to 2000. From 2000 to 2009, Samira worked at A. Alba Sanchez, first as a Financial Analyst and later as the Manager, Credit, and A/R. Since 2011, they have been working at Arizent, starting as an Accounts Receivable and currently serving as a Senior Accountant.
Samira Shalabi has a diverse education history. Samira began their educational journey at Colegio Santo Domingo, where they completed their high school education from 1988 to 1993. Afterward, they enrolled at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business from 1993 to 1997.
In 1999, Samira decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills in finance by attending Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo. Samira pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on finance, completing their degree in 2001.
Showing a keen interest in accounting, Samira returned to academia in 2014 and enrolled at SUNY Empire State College. Although the exact end year is not specified, they pursued studies in accounting at the institution.
The pursuit of knowledge emerged once again in 2016 when Samira enrolled in the graduate studies program at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Here, they focused on accounting valuation and forensics, leading to the completion of their Master of Science in Accountancy degree in 2019.
