Kristine Nishimura

Kristine Nishimura is an experienced education professional with a focus on early childhood development and community outreach. Currently serving as the Regional Outreach Coordinator at Arizona PBS since August 2015, Kristine provides support for the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry grant from First Things First. Prior to this role, Kristine was a TEACH College Liaison at the Association for Supportive Child Care and worked as a Student Services Specialist at Pima Community College, where responsibilities included advising, testing and assessment, and financial aid. Kristine also has experience as a preschool teacher at Light the Way Preschool and Beautiful Savior Academy. Kristine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Arts with a concentration in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from San Jose State University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
