Sinan Mecit

Sinan Mecit has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Sinan began their career at the International Republican Institute as a Finance Officer, responsible for payment of expenditures and daily accounting transactions. Sinan then joined Greenpeace Mediterranean as a Finance and Accounting Officer, where they administered and monitored the financial system and maintained accounts payable and accounts receivable systems. Sinan later became the Regional Finance Manager at Greenpeace, delivering timely financial reports, managing finance officers, and overseeing financial planning processes. Sinan then transitioned to ARK Group DMCC, first as a Regional Finance Manager, where they supervised accounting activities, prepared financial reports, managed cash flow, and set departmental objectives. Sinan then progressed to the role of Deputy Finance Director at ARK, where they managed the finance and accounting team, oversaw donor-funded budgets, and prepared financial reports for ongoing projects. Overall, Sinan Mecit has a strong background in finance and accounting, with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and team management.

Sinan Mecit began their education in 1999 at Sakarya University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Sinan completed their studies in 2004. From 2000 to 2002, they also attended Rotary International, where they obtained an Expert degree specializing in Accounting and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Sinan Mecit has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In January 2010, they completed the "Analysis of Financial Statements" certification program offered by Ronesans Financial Consultancy. Sinan further enhanced their knowledge in December 2009 by obtaining the "International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/UFRS)" certification from FRC Consultancy.

Sinan Mecit also holds certifications in other areas. In September 2012, they earned the "Fraud Detection and Prevention in Corporate" certification from FWS International Audit and Consulting in Germany - Berlin. Additionally, in February 2014, they completed the "Non Violent Communication" certification program offered by the Non Violent Communication Center.

Furthermore, Sinan Mecit has acquired certifications related to management and professional development. Sinan obtained certifications in "Performance Management System, Effective Management Communication, Performance Meeting" in February 2014, and in "PMD Pro" in January 2017. Both of these certifications do not mention a specific institution. Lastly, in September 2016, they completed the "Advanced US Grants Cost Principles" certification offered by Management Concepts.
